‘Bitchy’ American choreographer ousted from the Aussie camp just two weeks in
| Brian |
Viewers voted to oust the creative director after just over two weeks in the Australian jungle – and it was no surprise to bookies, who had pegged him as an outsider from the off.
“Something in me said pack your stuff up, I’m going home.”
Opening up about his time in the jungle, he said: “It was what I expected and more. “I thought it would be easier, I thought I would have a protein bar thrown at me once in a while. “Living in the heat, the rain, being around people 24/7 it was a challenge.
“I’m surprised I got through it. “I feel relieved, triumphant and successful. I know I didn’t make it till the end but those 17 or 18 days were really hard. “I’m looking forward to enjoying time with my fiancé, eating, showering and trying to get this stench off me.
“I want the largest family-sized bag of crisps. “The hunger and the heat were the hardest things. “The only person I felt for and wished I could swap places with is Yvette, she’s miserable in there and she’s crying every day.
“Kieron is the biggest game player, going from somebody that wanted to walk out, he’s back in the game.”
Brian, 38, became known as one of the camp’s bitchiest members, as he frequently clashed with toff Lady Colin – who branded him “full of sh*t” and a “motor mouth”.
But in recent days the pair made up and had even planned a trip to London’s Chinatown together.
Opening up about the socialite he said: “I think people are afraid of her and once I got the lashing of her tongue, I was afraid of her too.
“Tony and Duncan aren’t her favourites. “Saying that, what we went through yesterday with the storm we were somewhat cohesive. “I don’t ever want to get into a fight with her, knowing her opinion can’t be changed on anything.
“We are good now, she’s going to take me to Chinatown, she’s invited me to the castle.
“I know she can be very mean, I know this and I know that I shouldn’t get on her bad side.”
He recounted tales of his ‘showbiz lifestyle’ to the aristocrat as she lapped up stories from his X-Factor days.
Camp mates Duncan Bannatyne and Tony Hadley were convinced his friendship with the socialite was all part of a game plan to win votes from the public, who were desperate to keep the controversial 66-year-old in camp.
Brian also struggled with his OCD tendencies in the messy camp and the lack of food, and said having a role as chef was “the only way to pass time.” But he raised a smile with his take on Bushtucker Trials, coming up with jungle-themed dances during his Critter Shop of Horrors challenge.
Brian won 12 stars for his camp mates during his only trial. He told Yvette Fielding “I’m sorry” after he was axed over her after she claimed she was desperate to leave the camp. Brian also claimed he’d like to see George Shelley win.
