SPOILER ALERT: Simon violently attacks Amy in Corrie

SIMON Barlow’s abusive behaviour spirals out of control next week when he violently attacks young Amy Barlow.

The troubled teen has been terrorising stepmum Leanne Tilsley (Jane Danson) for months and the Barlow family are finally set to discover what’s been going on behind closed doors when he lashes out at his cousin.

Having been left with granddad Ken (Bill Roache), Simon (Alex Bain) kicks off declaring nobody wants him.

Concerned by the teen’s outburst, kind Robert (Tristan Gemmill) steps in and encourages Simon to open up, reminding him that he’s lucky to have a devoted mum like Leanne.

It looks like Robert has managed to get through to the lad as he then breaks down and hugs him – but his penitence doesn’t last for long as shortly after Leanne returns from her shopping trip, Simon sees red and takes it out on Amy.


As the pair bicker, Simon snatches Amy’s phone when she tries to call her mum and slams her forcefully against the wall.

When Tracy and Ken arrive home, shaken Amy relays her terrifying ordeal and the Barlows call a crisis meeting where Leanne is forced to come clean about Simon’s violent behaviour.

As the family reel from the shocking revelation, will Leanne finally get the support she needs to deal with Simon’s rage?
