As she continued singing the opening of the song, lasers and lights mixed with the catchy beat made you feel like you were at a Latino rave, and then, you heard a familiar voice it's the Fresh Prince, y'all! Smith showcased his bilingual skills by rapping part of his verse in Spanish while also getting the crowd pumped and on their feet.
Wife Jada Pinkett Smith and son Trey Smith were both dancing along to the song while cheering him on as he dominated the stage. And you know what this all tells us? Smith's upcoming tour is going to be everything we imagined.
It's not like we ever doubted our boy, but the 47-year-old proved that he can still get fans jumping and bring the energy he's so famous for.
Smith first revealed his touring plans with partner in crime DJ Jazzy Jeff about a month ago during an appearance on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. (He also said he's recorded more than 30 new songs.)
He confirmed the news again during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
"We never actually had a chance to go out and do a full tour. So, we released our first record in 1986...Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble was our first record, but by 1990 I was already on The Fresh Prince," the Grammy winner explained. "So, in that time, we just we were getting started and I never actually had a chance to go on tour, so I really want to get out there and do it for real."
