Could this 32-inch teen become the world’s smallest stand-up comedian?

Tiny Raman is the height of a toddler at the age of 15 but wants to make it big in showbiz.
Raman Raikvar may be tiny but he has big dreams

STANDING at a height of just 32 inches, he is often mistaken for a cute toddler. But Raman Raikvar is actually 15 years old – and planning to become the world’s smallest stand-up comedian.
Raman is tiny compared to his friends of the same age
The tiny teen from Qadian, a small town in northern India, suffers from an extreme case of dwarfism that has restricted his growth. At under three feet, Raman is half the size of an average boy of his age. But he says he’s happy being small and has no complaints.

He said: "I am very happy with myself. “I know I am very tiny and might never grow tall like my friends and other children, but I do not have any complaints or regrets. “People love me and that is what all matters.”
Despite being something of a local celebrity, Raman was forced out of school by cruel bullies.

He said: "My parents had enrolled me into a school and I was very much interested in studies but my classmates and other pupils made it difficult for me to survive. “They would always make fun of my height and call me with weird names.

"If I confronted them and told them to stop, they would scare me, leaving me in tears. “At one point, the jokes became too much to handle and one day, I told my parents that I am not going to school again."

But the wannabe comic has come to terms with his size, after being told of his condition as a tot. He said: "I was just five when I realised I am going to be small all my life. “Children my age would grow tall every year but in my case, only my head was growing bigger and not my limbs.

“My classmates would shoot up and tower over me while I would stand the same size."
Raman’s parents first realised there was a problem when he was three and after several visits to doctors, began to accept his size.

His father Jagannath Raikvar, 47, said: "After five daughters and one son, he was born to us. “He was a very healthy child and we were happy to have him. He was growing at a normal rate until he turned three. We realised his limbs were not growing.

"Baffled and panicked, we took him to several doctors and even got medicines. But nothing helped, he remained the same size. “We were of course disheartened but our love never vanished for him."

Despite his lack of schooling, the witty little lad has landed himself a job with a local dairy. Owner Lovely Singh said: "I found him one day sitting at a relative's place. I thought he was a kid but turned out he is a teenager.

“I decided to give him a respectful life and offered him a job at my dairy." "He is very talented and quick-witted and knows his job very well. Ever since he has joined the dairy, my customer base has increased manifold.

“People from far away come to buy milk from my dairy just to catch a glimpse of him. And he greets everyone with a smile. He is my lucky mascot." But Raman has his sights set on stardom and dreams of entertaining people for a living.

He said: "I want to be known as the world's tiniest stand-up comedian. “I feel great joy when people laugh at my jokes and I feel I can use my talent to earn name and fame.”
