Jose Mourinho’s first move as Man United manager would be to sign Wesley Sneijder

Special One already decided on big changes if he replaces Louis van Gaal.

JOSE MOURINHO wants to bring Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder to Manchester United if he is appointed the new boss at Old Trafford.

United chiefs have already sounded out the Special One, who was sacked only last week by champions Chelsea.
And Mourinho, 52, believes Holland schemer Sneijder could be the “game-breaker” United need.

But he is now unhappy at Galatasaray and would be the perfect fit for Mourinho’s Manchester United in every sense – a dressing room acolyte, capable of telling the rest of the squad how good the manager is, and also someone who buys into his work ethic.

The Special One was given the sack by Chelsea last week following a run of disastrous results.

United came close to signing Sneijder — who has 120 international caps for Holland — back in 2010 but were put off by Inter’s asking price.

“We had some talks with Alex Ferguson back in 2010,” Sneijder told Galatasaray Dergisi, the Turkish club’s official magazine.
“They contacted the club after our Treble season but too much money was asked for. And I was also happy at Inter so I decided to stay.
“Manchester United are a fantastic club and they kept showing interest after that year but not as determined as before.”
