Two killed in Limpopo helicopter crash

Two people were killed when a helicopter they were travelling in crashed in Musina, Limpopo.

Police spokesperson Colonel Ronel Otto said the crash occurred in the early hours on Wednesday.

“An R44 helicopter crashed into the bushes behind the Musina Golf Club just after 05:00 this morning. The pilot and his female passenger were killed, she said.

Otto said the cause of the crash was not known.
The matter would be investigated by the Civil Aviation Authority.
