Dad-of-three revealed as victim of horror hit-and-run smash that threw him 15ft in the air

A DAD-OF-THREE has been revealed as the victim of a horror hit-and-run smash in which he was hurled 15ft in the air by a maniac driver.

Andy Payne suffered serious head injuries when a Fiat 500 threw him "like a rag doll" 35ft down the road - as shocked passers-by looked on in horror.

Astonishingly Andy is now back at home - despite suffering a "laceration the size of a golf ball" after being smashed into. The dad-of-three was in hospital for six days and remembers nothing from the horror hit-and-run.

Wife Lisa said yesterday: "He's getting there. He's all right, but doesn't want to talk to anyone as he doesn't really want to remember anything."

Lisa decided to share the shocking CCTV footage, which went viral yesterday with more than two millions views, in a bid to catch those behind the collision

She added: "I haven't watched it. I don't want to watch it." Andy's son Sam, 26, said: "I felt sick watching this. I'm just so thankful we still have him with us."

Niece Danielle posted online: "Omg I feel sick. My poor family. Help find who done this."
Cops arrested a 31-year-old man and a 56-year-old woman, both from Brighton, in connection with the devastating crash last night.

Andy, a former Parker Pens team leader, was hit after the Fiat turned without indicating and smashed into him. One witness said: "Blood was running down the road."

Amazingly medics who rushed to the scene found Andy conscious - despite the serious head injuries.
The brave dad even sat up and climbed into an ambulance after the shock smash.
