Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that members of parliament "who go to comfort families of terrorists are not worthy of serving". He said he was looking into what steps could be taken against them.
Three Arab parliamentarians met with families of Palestinian attackers this week. Israeli media reports say relatives asked for attackers' bodies to be released to them and held a minutes silence to honour the "martyrs".
Israel is struggling to combat almost five months of near daily Palestinian attacks on civilians and soldiers that killed 27 Israelis in stabbings, shootings and car rammings. More than 150 Palestinians, the majority of whom Israel says were attackers, have been killed by Israeli forces.
