EXCLUSIVE: One foster carer sexually assaulted by ‘child’ she was caring for.

DANGEROUS asylum seekers claiming to be children have assaulted their foster carers stoking fears of a growing threat.

The revelations make a mockery of demands by 150 celebrities including Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch and tycoon Richard Branson, to take in more child refugees.

MPs are demanding new rules after one foster carer was attacked by an asylum seeker who claimed he was 12, but was registered as 16. A dental assessment revealed the Afghan, who arrived in Britain illegally via Calais, was probably aged between 18 and 21.

Another carer has reported being sexually assaulted by a “teenager” she was looking after. It came as celebs backed a petition calling for refugee children to be reunited with British relatives.

 Tory MP David Davies said age assessment guidelines were “flawed”. He insisted: “This issue is of the deepest concern, not least for the families involved who are being put at risk here. It’s all very well bringing children over here but how can they make sure they are actually children?


“One asylum seeker was even looking at jihadi websites and child abuse images. This needs to stop before someone is seriously hurt. These guidelines are clearly flawed. I will be writing to the Prime Minister.”

If asylum seekers are classified as children they become the responsibility of UK social services.
According to official guidelines, authorities should only treat an individual as an adult if two officials think they look “significantly” over 18 and there is “clear and credible documentary evidence”.
