GENEROUS boxing legend Floyd Mayweather tipped chauffeurs £1,200 on a visit to the UK. Each driver of six Rolls-Royce Phantoms hired for the 38-year-old and his 24-strong entourage got £200 apiece.

American Floyd was in Birmingham for an after-dinner speaking date. Car hire boss Mazhar Iqbal, 31, said: “I’d read he wasn’t the best tipper, but that must be wrong.

“It was a fantastic gesture. He told one of his entourage to hand the money to each driver.” Mahzar’s Phantom Hire firm drove him around the city and then to Birmingham Airport, where his private jet waited.

Ex-champ Floyd was the world’s richest sportsman when he quit boxing undefeated last year.
