ADELE walked away as the overwhelming winner at this year's star-studded BRIT Awards. After Coldplay kickstarted the ceremy in style, Little Mix, Rihanna and Justin Bieber were among those to hit the stage before Adele closed the show with an emotional performance of When We Were Young.

  Although there were few surprises as the Hello singer wiped the floor with her competition as she won every award she was nominated for, fans were shocked that Years & Years, who were up for four awards, failed to take home any.
