HE’S an unbeaten boxing champ yet bizarrely Floyd Mayweather Jnr chose to surround himself with a posse of giant bodyguards while on a recent shopping trip to London.

During the retired US world welterweight’s glittering career he single-handedly KO’d 26 opponents so you would think he could easily fend off any over eager selfie seeker.

 However the 5ft8 sports star was absolutely dwarfed by his four-strong crew, which included 7ft tall Alfonso “Big Church” Redic. At 30st 10lbs Redic is three times the size of 10st 7lbs Floyd.

 Perhaps the extreme security is needed to protect his purchases. During his shopping spree in the capital’s plush Mayfair shopping district he took in designer shops including Christian Louboutin and Balmain.


The 38-year-old, who was sporting a £400,000 diamond-encrusted watch, later posted a picture of himself online with NINE shopping bags.
He accompanied the modest snap with the caption: “Did a little shopping today.”
