THIS is the shocking moment pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine carried out brutal ISIS-style torture on a suspected drug addict. Militants in the town of Communar, near Donetsk were filmed brutally whipping a topless man until the skin on his back peeled off.

The video shows the man begging for his life and tied with tape to a wooden post as he is repeatedly whipped until the skin starts to peel off his back

Locals say the man - who is heard pleading for his life - has not been seen since the video was made and is now presumed to be dead. The footage has attracted hundreds of thousands of viewers since it was posted online.

It shows the man begging for his life and tied with tape to a wooden post as he is repeatedly whipped until the skin starts to peel off his back. The whipping was carried out by a militant identified as 'Olkhon' - who came to Communar from the central Russian city of Novosibirsk to support pro-Russian separatists in Ukraine.

The video captures the man, who begs for his life, saying: “Stop please! I'll say what you need. I will call another drug dealer and he will arrive with drugs.” He is then asked if he is admitting he is a junkie, and he cries out no.


But his torturers demand to know why he has a drug dealer’s phone number and the beating continues. The person who shot the video then speaks, saying: “We don't need courts or sentences - this is what we need.”
The man being tortured then shouts: “I swear I told everything. God I can't stand it anymore, I want to live. Please, please!”
Olkhon then speaks, saying: “Drug dealers and junkies please come here to us, we have a way to deal with people like you. Come to us and we will cure all of you.
”But this fellow will be slaughtered as a dog. He will live until he has stopped talking about his fellow drug dealers and has given us information, and then he will be dead," he adds.
"See how he has pissed and s*** himself. He thinks we will have some mercy on him, but we will kill him," Olkhon goes on to say.
The video was posted online by an official community of pro-Russian rebels on the Russian social network VKontakte.
