A 47-year-old Italian man was on Thursday found dead in his room at the Sankara Hotel in Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya.The man had booked into a room on the 4th floor of the posh hotel, where he had been staying since Tuesday.
According to Nairobi News, he died after calling for a taxi to pick him up from the hotel.
The hotel staff had gone to check on him after he failed to answer calls by the taxi driver.
That was when they found his lifeless body near the door of his room.
According to Daily Nation, he had injuries to his head.
An investigation into his death was launched by the police.
