| Eric Dier and Jose Mourinho |
Mourinho, 56, is now in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium hotseat after replacing the Argentine tactician, who was sacked last week after five years at the helm.
Whether or not the Portuguese had much of an impact at the weekend is open to debate as Spurs beat a lacklustre West Ham United 3-2 at the London Stadium.
Next up for the north Londoners is the visit of Greek giants Olympiakos in the Champions League on Tuesday night for what will be the new boss' first home game in charge.
They have made a decent start to Europe's elite club competition, with seven points from four games played seeing them sit second in Group B - despite a 7-2 mauling at home to Bayern Munich on matchday two.
Dier, who is likely to feature against Olympiakos, has hailed the arrival of Mourinho and believes having someone with his presence in the dressing room can only auger well for the future of the club.
"His record is unbelievable, and he transmits that confidence," said the England midfielder. "The way he speaks, you believe it, you feel it from him.
