George Russell is expected to continue in his rich vein of form when he steps into the 2020 Williams for the new season.
The Mercedes junior made a lasting impression after his first season in Formula 1 even though he failed to score a single World Championship point.
Russell handled Williams’ ongoing problems with maturity and professionalism, and achieved the only thing in his power which was to beat his team mate Robert Kubica in quite comprehensible fashion.
The British driver is heading into his second year with Williams and the message is a simple one, but the team know they need to give a better car to allow more of the spotlight on him.
