The couple are said to have been enjoying a late night romp near her office in temperatures of -6C when the explosive went off.
NIkita was holding "a kind of grenade or a piece of TNT", reports claimed. Eyewitnesses who rushed to the scene of the blast said the pair were both in the back seat of the white Toyota RAV4.

The couple had a four-year-old daughter who was orphaned by the tragedy. Mrs Bobrovskaya was a regional legislative deputy in Novosibirsk, Siberia. City mayor Anatoly Lokot said her death was due to family problems.
"This was not a terrorist act," he said. Eyewitness Evgenia Romanova, whose apartment overlooking the scene, said: "I looked out of the window and saw this all carnage.
"My husband went down to the street, and I looked through the window.
"It was horrific something you would not wish anyone to see. No heads, glass covered in blood - a nightmare."
The female politician's face was "almost not visible" after the blast, said another witness.
Her husband - believed to be in his early 30s - was a former special services officer in the Russian military.
But he had been out of work, placing a strain on their relationship as she was the sole breadwinner, according to reports.
Major news outlet LifeNews later reported an anonymous police source as saying forensic evidence indicated the couple did have sex before the explosion.
The source said: "Presumably during a fierce conflict he began to force her to perform her conjugal duty by threats and showing her an explosive device."
