Is this the worst tenant ever? Apple employee jailed for doing THIS to his flat

A FORMER Apple employee who caused £10,000 damage to his rented flat by pooing and urinating all over it has been caged for a year. Disgusting Robert Kummer stashed thousands of bottles of wee and faeces around his apartment - and even smeared excrement on the walls, floors and ceilings.

The 37-year-old was caught after horrified neighbours, who thought the foul smell coming from the flat was a dead body, tipped off cops.

Police who raided the property in Cork, Ireland, discovered human waste seeping through the floorboards - sparking fears the entire apartment block was contaminated.

Mounds of rubbish were piled up to the ceiling and firefighters tasked with cleaning up the apartment had to wear breathing apparatus because the stench was so bad.

But despite causing thousands of pounds of damage to the rented property, German-born Kummer could offer no reason for why he trashed the flat - and was jailed after refusing to pay for the damage he caused.
Bizarrely, the toilet in the apartment was also found to be in perfect working order - despite the ex-Apple worker, who was an employee in the tech giant's Cork plant, refusing to use it.

Baffled psychiatrist Dr John Dennehy said: "Kummer might have suffered from depressive episodes. But I am at a loss to explain his behaviour.”

Cork Crown Court heard that the rubbish in the flat was stashed up to two foot high in places and Kummer had to use a stepladder to make his way around before cops went to investigate in 2013.
Judge Sean O'Donnabhain described the case as "bizarre".

Sentencing Kummer to 12 months behind bars after he admitted criminal damage, he said: "There was very extensive damage to the property. It is essentially a case of fouling the property.
“There had been very graphic evidence about his behaviour in the flat and its consequences.
“The accused had every opportunity to pay compensation but he did not do so.
“It is now likely that there is going to be no recompense for the landlord.”
