Jordan Henderson close to Liverpool comeback

Jordan Henderson has confirmed he is closing in on a return to full fitness as he continues his recovery from a broken foot.

The Liverpool captain sustained the injury in training and has not played since the 1-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield in August.

Since then, Jurgen Klopp has replaced Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool's manager, meaning Henderson is yet to play for the former Borussia Dortmund boss.
