Four terror suspects being hunted in Switzerland

The security alert has been raised as cops search for the men in Geneva.

SWISS cops are hunting four terror suspects in Geneva near the French border. Guards armed with MP5 sub-machine guns have been posted at the entry points to the United Nations complex in Geneva as police continue the search.


Swiss federal authorities tipped off Geneva cops and the department of security said: "The Geneva police, on the basis of this information, have increased their level of vigilance and reinforced the number of police agents on the ground."

Geneva security officials had said earlier that they had raised the alert level in the city and were looking for suspects in connection with investigations into the Nov. 13 Paris attacks.
