Man charged after killing three in Boxing Day hit and run

The couple are believed to have been with Mandy Deere, 54, who also died and her husband John, 57, who is in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Three people were tragically killed and one left seriously injured after the hit and run on Boxing Day
Ricky Joe Hepworth, 24, was due to appear in Doncaster Magistrates' Court today after being charged with three counts of death by dangerous driving, three counts of aggravated vehicle taking, three counts of causing a death while driving uninsured and unlicensed, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.

Fay and Andy's daughter posted a moving tribute to her parents on Facebook, where loved ones paid their respects.
Julia Cooke wrote: "There are no words to help ease this pain we are all feeling but loving arms will know we all care for each other."

 Family members posted photos of the happy couples with messages of support for friends.
South Yorkshire Police said: "At around 11pm on December 26 it is reported a blue Volvo S60 and four pedestrians were involved in a collision.

“Two women aged 54 and a 48-year-old man died as a result of their injuries and their families are receiving support from officers. A 57-year-old man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.”
