Bradley Stocker, 39, told of his shock at receiving an alert from firm DPD informing him his new iPhone 6 had been delivered despite no one knocking at the door. DPD's website stated the parcel had been dropped off with a neighbour, but Bradley found none of his neighbours had spoken to any delivery driver.

Bradley claims the driver can be seen using his GPS to register he attended the address but makes no attempt to go up the drive. Bradley, from Ealing, West London, said: "I'm really, really annoyed at what the CCTV shows – I think it proves the courier stole the phone. It makes me so mad.

"The driver clearly gets out of his van and comes over to my house but stops as he gets to the drive.
"He uses his device to do something and then leaves  without even attempting to knock.

"I think he was logging that he had attending the address and using his GPS to show he was actually there. "However the footage clearly shows he made no attempt to see if anyone was in the house.
“I was sat there the whole time waiting.

"I think he did it on purpose to steal the phone. "From the laid-back way he does it, I would guess it is not his first time and would not be surprised if he has stolen lots of items using this nasty trick.

"I'm just really pleased I got hold of this footage as I hope this shows what he is up to and stops it happening to anyone else." Despite reporting the incident on January 29, Bradley has been left without a phone as his phone supplier was unable to send another until DPD confirmed the last one had been stolen.

After alerting DPD to the issue, Bradley says he was informed that the delivery driver claimed the parcel was left with a 55-year-old neighbour, who was Asian. However Bradley claims he has no neighbours that match this description and the tracking system stated it was left with a woman.
Bradley, a service engineer, said: "I think he should be sacked on the spot for this.”

A DPD spokesman confirmed that they were investigating the alleged incident. He said: "DPD has been voted the UK's favourite parcel delivery company three years running in two separate customer satisfaction polls by Which? and Martin Lewis' MoneySavingExpert.

"We deliver over 200 million parcels a year and incidents such as this are incredibly rare. DPD take the security of our customers' parcels very seriously indeed and a full investigation is currently underway.
