Deported lawyer Miguna Miguna has released a statement confirming that he has arrived in Toronto, Canada from Dubai where he was holed up for four days.

In the statement, Miguna says he is admitted at a specialised hospital in Canada where he is set to undergo toxicology tests and medical treatment.

“I have arrived in Ontario, Canada in order to undergo specialized toxicology tests and medical treatment following my illegal and violent abduction, torture and chemical poisoning by the tyrannical Jubilee regime,” reads the statement.

Miguna added that he would be returning to Kenya soon after he has undergone specialised medical care.

“After my medical treatment abroad I intend to immediately return to Kenya and continue the struggle for a better and just society that we Kenyans have been yearning forgot 55 years,” he said.

Miguna boarded Air Canada AC57 that left Dubai at 11:49pm on Sunday night and the plane was scheduled to touch down in Toronto, Canada, at 5:14 am early Monday morning.
